Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône
Saint- Ouen- l'Aumône is a commune in the department of Val- d'Oise in the Île- de -France region. It belongs to Arrondissement Pontoise and is the capital of the canton of the same name. The residents " Saint- Ouennais " and " Saint- Ouennaises " call themselves.
Geography
The town of Saint -Ouen- l'Aumône with 23 731 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) is located north of Paris on the Oise River. Neighboring municipalities of Saint- Ouen- l'Aumône are Pontoise in the West, Auvers- sur -Oise in the north, Méry -sur -Oise in the east, in the southeast Pierrelaye, Herblay in the south and Éragny in the southwest.
History
The village lies on a Roman road from Lutetia ( Paris) to Rotomagus (Rouen ). He was named after the Saint. Ouen named.

The city has settled a very large number of small and medium-sized enterprises in the four main commercial areas. More than 700 companies take a 40 % of the municipal area. In the port of Saint- Ouen- l'Aumône is loaded mainly cereals.
Traffic
Saint- Ouen- l'Aumône is on the line H and J of the regional network Transilien and on the express train RER C to Paris. The city has a total of five stations.
