Saint Petersburg Ring Road
The KAD ( А 118; КАД Cyrillic abbreviation for Russian Кольцевая Автомобильная Дорога / Koltsevaya Awtomobilnaja Doroga, dt ring road) is a beltway that surrounds the Russian city of Saint Petersburg. With the opening of the last part of the piece on August 11, 2011, the project was completed with a total length of 142.15 km after long years of construction
A special feature is that it crosses the Newabucht the Gulf of Finland in its western section. The route proceeds via the Petersburg Dam, the island Kotlin and through the town lying on Kronstadt.
