Saint Pierre and Miquelon national football team

The Ligue de football de Saint -Pierre- et- Miquelon ( LFSPM ) is the regional football association of the French overseas territory of Saint- Pierre and Miquelon.

The organization was founded in 1976 and is a member of the French Football Federation Fédération Française de Football. A member of the CONCACAF or FIFA does not exist. President is Jean de Lizarraga, its predecessor was Louis Quedinet.

Club teams at Saint- Pierre and Miquelon

In all football teams from Saint -Pierre and Miquelon exclusively play amateurs. 2009, there were 443 registered club players. The Association sportive Saint Pierraise (ASSP ), also: AS St- Pierre, is by far the oldest football club of Saint- Pierre and Miquelon. It was founded in 1903. The official team colors are green and white. The ' A. S. Saint Pierraise ' already won 5 times the Federation Cup ( 2005).

A. S. Miquelonnaise

The A. S. Miquelonnaise of the neighboring island of Miquelon - Langlade won in 2005 for the first time the association championship.
