Saint Pierre and Miquelon national football team
The Ligue de football de Saint -Pierre- et- Miquelon ( LFSPM ) is the regional football association of the French overseas territory of Saint- Pierre and Miquelon.
The organization was founded in 1976 and is a member of the French Football Federation Fédération Française de Football. A member of the CONCACAF or FIFA does not exist. President is Jean de Lizarraga, its predecessor was Louis Quedinet.

Club teams at Saint- Pierre and Miquelon
In all football teams from Saint -Pierre and Miquelon exclusively play amateurs. 2009, there were 443 registered club players. Island Championships are held since 1964; The clubs also take part in competitions of the adjoining Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Football is not the most popular sport on the islands, sailing and hockey are common.
A. S. Ilienne amateur
The A. S. Ilienne amateur won 30 times with the Federation Cup ( 2005). On August 12, 1978, the club won the trophy in the Canadian province of Newfoundland against local rivals ASSP with 6:4 competition.
A. S. Saint Pierraise
The Association sportive Saint Pierraise (ASSP ), also: AS St- Pierre, is by far the oldest football club of Saint- Pierre and Miquelon. It was founded in 1903. The official team colors are green and white. The ' A. S. Saint Pierraise ' already won 5 times the Federation Cup ( 2005).
A. S. Miquelonnaise
The A. S. Miquelonnaise of the neighboring island of Miquelon - Langlade won in 2005 for the first time the association championship.
