The Salaca [ salat͡sa ] ( German: Salis ) is a river in North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve in northern Latvia. It flows from Burtnieker lake to the west, where they ( German: Salis Warnemünde ) at Salacgrīva empties into the Gulf of Riga.
