Salli Richardson

Salli Elise Richardson - Whitfield ( born November 23, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois as Salli Elise Richardson ) is an American actress.

Private life

The mother of the actress is African- American- Indian descent, the ancestors of her working at the University of Chicago father came from Italy and Ireland. Richardson grew up in Chicago, where she performed in a theater.

Richardson is married to actor Dondre Whitfield since 2002. With him and their daughter, Parker Richardson Whitfield, she lives in Los Angeles.

Career

Film

Her first film role was in the drama Up Against the Wall in 1991 in Western Posse -. Revenge of Jessie Lee ( 1993) she was seen on the side of Mario Van Peebles, Stephen Baldwin and Billy Zane. In the thriller Sioux City - Amulet of Vengeance (1994 ) she played alongside Lou Diamond Phillips one of the major roles. In the comedy I Spy Returns ( 1994) she played alongside the main actors Bill Cosby and Robert Culp an agent in outdoor use. They played an important role also - on the side of Keenen Ivory Wayans and Jada Pinkett Smith - in the action comedy A Low Down Dirty Shame from the same year.

In the television drama True Women (1997) Richardson appeared on the side of Annabeth Gish, Angelina Jolie and Rachael Leigh Cook. In the film drama Antwone Fisher ( 2002) she starred alongside Denzel Washington and Derek Luke. In the SF- Drama I Am Legend (2007), she took over a larger role on the side of Will Smith. In 2010 she starred in I Will Follow and 2012 We the Party.

TV

1994 to 1996 and 1998 she was a spokesperson in the animated series Gargoyles - On the wings of justice. Guest appearances had Salli Richardson, among others, in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993 ), Stargate - Kommando SG -1 ( 1997), The Pretender (1998 ) CSI: Miami ( 2003), New York Cops - NYPD Blue ( 2004) Dr. House (2005), Missing - desperately Seeking (2005), bones - bone Hunter ( 2006) and Criminal Minds ( 2009).
