Sallie Krawcheck

Sallie Krawcheck (born 1965 in Charleston, South Carolina) is an American bank manager and was until 2008 Chief Executive Officer of Smith Barney.

Biography

She grew up in Charleston. There she attended the exclusive Porter - Gaud School. During her school years she was known locally as Leichtathletikerin. It makes a degree in journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.

Prior to joining Smith Barney, she was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Citigroup. According to a list of the 100 most powerful women in the world by Forbes Magazine in 2005 and 2006 she was one of the 10 most powerful women in the world. 2002, it was out by the time the list of "Global Influentials ".

Krawcheck is since 2006 the Board of Directors of Dell, responsible for finance.
