Salomeja Zaksaitė ( notation at the World Chess Federation FIDE Salomeja Zaksaite; born 25 July 1985 in Kaunas) is a Lithuanian chess player (WIM), criminal justice activist and criminologist.

Life

From 1991 to 1998 Zaksaitė attended elementary school "Anima" Kaunas and from 1998 to 2003, the school Kaunas University of Technology. After graduating from high school she attended from 2003 to 2008, the Master's degree in Law with the trade specialization of criminology and 2008-2012 doctoral studies at Faculty of Law, Vilnius University. on January 27, 2012, she received a doctorate in criminal law and sports law on the subject of prevalence and prevention problems of cheating in sports ( lit. " Sukčiavimo sporto srityje paplitimas ir prevencijos problemos " ) at Anna Drakšienė.

Zaksaitė works in the Institute of Law of Lithuania; from November 2006 as an assistant from 2008 Upper specialist and from 2009 as a researcher ( in the Department of Legal System Research, and then in the Department of Criminal Justice ) worked. In the fall semester of 2012, she taught comparative criminal law in English at the European Humanities University. Since April 2013, it post- doctoral student is at Mykolas - Romer University ( funded by the Science Council of Lithuania ). Her research topic is " deception in sports: dissemination, prevention and legal assessment ". Your supervisor is Alfredas KisKis.

Zaksaitė lectured, 2009 in Moscow, at the University of Oxford and in 2011 at the German Sport University in Cologne on the topic Recent tendencies in Lithuanian antidoping law. She continued his education in Denmark.

Chess successes

In 2003 she was awarded the title of International Women's Champion (WIM). The standards for this they achieved in July 2002 in the Baltic Women's Championship in Panevėžys overachieving, in August 2002 at a tournament in Birštonas, also with over-fulfillment, and in July 2003 at the International Sosnicki Memorial in the Polish Świdnica.
