Salvador Carmona

José Salvador Carmona Álvarez ( born August 22, 1975 in Mexico City) is a Mexican football player. He played in his home at the football club Cruz Azul.

(: June 26, 2005 Balance ) completed for Mexico Overall, the defender has 85 caps. He played from 1994 to 2000 in Toluca and from 2000 to 2001 for Atlante, then again a season in Toluca, after a brief stop in Guadalajara in 2005 he moved before the Confederations Cup in Germany to Cruz Azul.

The defense chief of the Mexican Salvador Carmona often plays on the right wing. In the Football World Cup in France in 1998, he completed two games. A little later in the qualification for the 2002 World Cup he won out and became a regular player. The center-back is very strong in the air.

At the Confederations Cup in 2005, he participated in the preliminaries Mexico against Japan ( 2-1) and against world champions Brazil (1-0 ).
