Salvador Garriga Polledo

After he received his diploma in foreign trade, Garriga Polledo economist and consultant and has worked as an entrepreneur in foreign trade. For the youth organization of the PP he carried the responsibility for external relations, later, he was responsible for the PP for relations between the sectors. For two years, he was Vice President of the Democrat Youth Community of Europe. In 1987, one year after Spain joined the European Union, he moved into the European Parliament, where he served until 1989. From 1990 to 1993 he was a member of the Spanish Parliament, since 1994 he is back in the European Parliament.

Polledo is a member of the Board of the Group of the European People's Party ( Christian Democrats) and the following committees and delegations member in the Budget Committee and the Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.

Deputy is Polledo the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Delegation for relations with the Palestinian Legislative Council.
