Sam Fell
Sam Fell (* Isle of Sheppey, England) is a British film director, screenwriter, voice actor and animator, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2013.
Life
Sam Fell worked for the first time in 1992 as director, screenwriter and as a voice actor for the animated short television film The Big Cheese. In 1996 he created his second animated short film Pop recorded with stop-motion process. His most recent short film Chump in 2002 honored at the Seattle Underground Film Festival for Best Animated Short Film. In the following years, he served as director for the films Flushed Away (2006), The Tale of Despereaux - The Little Mouse Hero ( 2008) and Para Norman (2012 ) is responsible. For the latter fur received an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film at the Academy Awards 2013.
