Sam J. Lundwall

Sam Jerrie Lundwall ( born February 24, 1941 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish science fiction writer, literary critic and translator.

He is the son of a mechanic and a master German -born mother and began early to write science fiction stories ( when he was eleven years old, sent the Swedish broadcasting one of his texts). He studied in Stockholm and graduated as an electronics engineer. He worked as a photographer and was editor of a book series fantastic content as well as 1972 to 2009 editor of the Swedish science fiction magazine Jules Verne Magasinet. He founded his own publishing house and translated numerous English titles into Swedish, including those of John le Carré. He also worked as an artist, singer, and record producer. In order to be perceived in the English language, he translated his own works written in Swedish into English.

In addition to novels and poems he also published non-fiction books and bibliographies of science fiction literature.
