Sam Kinison

Samuel Burl "Sam" Kinison ( born December 8, 1953 in Yakima, Washington, † April 10, 1992 in Needles, California ) was an American comedian and actor.

Life

Kinison was born in Yakima. He was the son of Marie and Samuel Kinison. His father was a pastor, he worked in various churches around the country. The family moved around, among other things, he lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma and East Peoria. In East Peoria, he attended the Community High School. After school he joined only in his father's footsteps. He attended Pinecrest Bible Training Center in Salisbury Center, New York. After divorcing his first wife, he resigned the office and began his career as a comedian, first in small clubs in Houston. Kinison played it with his former role as a preacher, with satirical and sacrilegious shots at the Bible. Kinisons daring comedy helped him to make quick progress. In 1985 he had an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman. In 1986 he made ​​his film debut.

Kinison was originally intended for the role of Al Bundy, on the show Married with Children. He later made ​​a guest appearance. He also appeared in several music videos. Until his death in 1992 he was, inter alia, on the Tonight Show to see Howard Stern Show.

Kinison died on 10 April 1992 in a traffic accident on the way to a sold-out show to Laughlin, Nevada.

Kinison was buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.

In February 2011, the Toronto Sun reported that Kinison had fathered with the woman of his best friend a child. A DNA test with his brother Bill Kinison revealed that he is 98.8 percent of the father.
