Sam Malin

Sam Malin ( born September 29, 1963) is a Canadian entrepreneur who has been active in Madagascar. He is the founder of numerous companies such as Madagascar Oil, Red Iceland Minerals, Avana Petroleum and Avana Uranium.

Life

Malin attended St. Michaels University School in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He studied at Queen's University ( Kingston) (Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering ) and the University of Cambridge. Subsequently, he worked at Standard & Poor's.
