Sam & Max Save the World

Sam & Max: Season One is a collection produced by computer game developers Telltale Games and published by the company JoWood, consisting of six episodes is: Culture Shock, Situation Comedy, The Mole, The Mob and The Meatball, Abe Lincoln Must Die, Reality 2.0 and Bright Side Of The Moon. The games was renamed Sam & Max Save the World, 2009.

Background

It is the successor to PC Adventures Sam & Max Hit the Road, whose story is not continued directly. The episodes are completed, about two hours of play time stories each in itself, but together form a story about the machinations of the mad " Prismatologen " Rainer blessing who wants to enslave humanity through hypnosis. Some storylines take again and again to previous episodes reference. The final episode of the first season is also the final of the cross- action. The game was chosen by GameSpy in the top 10 best games of 2007.

The complete package contains several extras. There is a signed by Steve Purcell Fanposter, a making-of video, all trailers of the six episodes, the soundtrack, biographies of characters, wallpapers and even a Sam & Max online comic of the DVD. The collection was released on 5 September 2007 in the German retail sector. The first episode of the series was released on 17 October 2006, and was expelled from 1 November of the same year in Europe as a download version. Like all episodes of this collection was the presentation no longer in the hand-drawn 2D graphics, as they used in their LucasArts SCUMM system, but uses a newly developed 3D environment, which previously in Bone: Out from Boneville was used. As each episode, a short, freely available demo version on the manufacturer's site is offered.

German version

Unlike the versions offered by Telltale for paid download the episodes have been translated into the Season One collection in German (but also contains the game disc, the original English version and a French and Italian translation ). In the German version Sandra Schwittau speaks (known as synchronous voice of the cartoon character Bart Simpson) the role of the rabbit Max, while Hans -Gerd Kilbinger assumes the role of the dog Sam. Thus, both figures of the same speakers as in Sam & Max are: Hit the road spoken. Furthermore, in the German version the other speaking roles occupied as follows:
