Sam Ricketts ( born October 11, 1981 in Aylesbury, England) is a Welsh footballer who plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers since the 2013/14 season.

Playing career

National

After several engagements with unterklassigen clubs have moved Sam Ricketts 2004 Swansea City. With the Welsh he succeeded in the first year of promotion to the Football League One, the third English league. He immediately became a regular player and national team of his country.

In summer 2006, Ricketts was obliged by the second division Hull City, with which he rose to the Premier League 2007 /2008.
