Sam (ugly dog)

Sam (* 1991, † November 2005 in Santa Barbara ) was a Chinese crested dog - dog. He was elected several times to the " ugliest dog in the world " and was also known for TV appearances.

Sam belonged to the US-American Susie Lockheed. Lockheed Sam had adopted before 1999 by its previous owner. The 'd want to give the dog to the shelter. The dog overgrown by his wrinkled brown skin, countless warts and moles, a vampire -like teeth and through his thick knots and crooked nails paws became known. Appearances in TV shows had made the dog known as the ugliest dog in the world.

In the elections for Worlds Ugliest Dog Sam won in 2003 and 2005. This gave him an appearance on the Carson Daly show with Donald Trump, and in the show Criss Angel Mindfreak. For the dog its own website has been switched, which often collapsed under the onslaught of countless fans. Lockheed left the dog because of old age and heart failure in 2005 to sleep in Santa Barbara.
