Samantha Retrosi

Samantha Retrosi ( born December 12, 1985 in Saratoga ) is a former American luger.

Samantha Retrosi, U.S. Juniorenrodlerin and junior champion in 2002 and 2003, lives in Saranac Lake. She went from 2002 to 2007 in international competitions on. At the Junior World Championships in 2005, she came fourth and just missed a medal. 2004 and 2006 it was U.S. vice- champion. Your best World Cup season had Retrosi 2005/2006. During the season they achieved their best World Cup result, a fourth place in Lake Placid, and a third with the team at the same place. At the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin Retrosi crashed in the second passage difficult and had to be hospitalized, but had no serious injuries.

In June 2007 Retrosi gave her resignation from the competitive sport known and began studying sociology at George Mason University.
