Samanyolu TV

Samanyolu TV, abbreviated as STV, is a Turkish television station based in Istanbul, which was founded on 13 January 1993 at Inititiave of Fethullah Gülen, and belongs to Turkish corporation Samanyolu Yayin Grubu.

Approximately 90 % of items are self- produced ( series and TV movies, magazines and news, music and entertainment, documentaries, comedy and children's programs ). The station had data from AGB Nielsen Media Research reports that the can record an increase of 26.7 % in prime time between April 2004 and April 2005 at the ratings. A further increase of 24.5 % was recorded between August 2005 and August 2006. These percentage increases are in the Turkish TV history unprecedented. The ratings obtained are considered as manipulated. In 2010 Samanyolu TV had according to various information an audience share of 5.8% (IP Network / TV KeyFacts 2010) or 4.4 % ( AGB Nielsen, Television Audience Measurement Report, Istanbul, 2010). STV cooperates with ZDF and the Cihan news agency.

STV AVRUPA (German STV EUROPE ) sends out its television studios in Germany since November 2001. The TV station has in Offenbach am Main two studios in the building of the World Media Group AG. In the studios of radio station about 400 guests. The studio space will be expanded this year to 1,200 m². Entertainment programs, magazines and series of Samanyolu TV will also be broadcast at Mehtap TV, Samanyolu Haber, Yumurcak TV, Hazar TV, Ebru TV.
