Samuel " Sammy" Morris ( born March 23, 1977 in Oxford, England ) is a former American professional American football player in the position of running backs. He played for the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League ( NFL).

Career

2000 Morris was selected in the 5th round of the NFL Drafts of the Buffalo Bills. By 2007, he was an average reserve running back who has been banned for four games in 2006 for doping. On 3 March 2007, he signed a three -year contract with the New England Patriots. There he played with Laurence Maroney and gained much better statistics than the years before. Due to a chest injury on November 2, 2007, he was unable to finish the season.

Since 2013, Morris is an assistant coach at Attleboro High School in Attleboro, Massachusetts.
