Samosa

Samosas ( devanagari: समोसा, samosa, also सामोसा, samosa; Portuguese: chamuça ) are dumplings from India and Pakistan, which are filled with various ingredients.

The dough is often a traditional wheat flour - water mixture are filled into the cooked or uncooked food. Typically, so leftovers are finished. They are filled with the remains of a vegetable curries, with rice and potatoes, but also with minced meat or fish. They will be merged into triangles and fried in boiling fat. Thus they are again particularly energy rich and very spicy in taste.

They are often served as an appetizer or sold on the street as a quick snack.
