Reception

The journal describes the anime manga scene as "successful implementation of the modernized Kurosawa classic". The motives of the template would be fairly well captured and the simple character design and the environment created a harmonious atmosphere. The cyber -punk- like world was opposed to classical Japanese music. The animations, however, would not meet the expectations, even though the computer animation would fit in well. The characters are sympathetic and would grow into their roles, to keep the series including a "good load of action ".
