San Babila (Milan Metro)

The San Babila Station is an underground station of the metro Milan. It was named after the eponymous square.

History

End of the 1950s began with the construction of the first stretch of subway Milan, which should drive Marelli by lottery. This involved, among others, the San Babila Station.

The line was opened on 1 November 1964.

Location

As each Station on Line 1 has two tracks with side platforms of San Babila Station. About the track level results in a mezzanine with monitored access control.

Connection

At the station there is a link from the metro line 1 to the bus lines 54, 60, 61 and 73
