San Isidro Club

The San Isidro Club (SIC ) is a rugby union club in San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina and is a member of the Unión de Rugby de Buenos Aires ( URBA ).

The club was founded on 14 December 1935 after some players and parts were thrown out by the management of the Association CASI because of ideological differences. The club won 23 times the regional championships and became one of the most important URBA teams, especially after the 1970s.

The matches between SIC and CASI are since the split that divided San Isidro, contested local derbies.

URBA: 1939, 1941, 1948, 1970 ( along with Club Universitario de Buenos Aires, also called CUBA ), 1971, 1972, 1973, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1983, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1993, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2002, 2003 and 2004.

Nacional de Clubes: 1993, 1994, 2006 and 2008.
