San Pedro de Alcántara

San Pedro de Alcántara is a Spanish town on the Costa del Sol, which is part of the territory of the city of Marbella. It is named after the saints ( Peter of Alcantara ) and has about 34,000 inhabitants.

History

The plant of the settlement took place in the 1860s by General Manuel Gutierrez de la Concha.

Attractions

Worth seeing are the ruins of the Roman period and an early Christian basilica.
