Sanana Island

Sanana, Indonesian Pulau Sanana, is a 558 km ² large Indonesian island of Sula Islands in the Moluccas.

Sanana located in the southeast of the island Mangole, has a circumference of 136.7 km and about 20,000 inhabitants. The highest elevation is 695 m high.

It is cultivated rice, corn, coconut, sugar cane and tobacco. It is obtained sago and operated fishing. The capital is also called Sanana and has an airport.
