Sancourt (Somme)

Sancourt ( Picard: Seucourt ) is a commune with 264 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region of northern France. The municipality is part of the Canton of Ham, and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays Hamois.

Geography

The community as northwestern neighbor of the cantonal capital of Ham is located on the east bank of the canalized here Somme and east of the creek Germaine and at the Department road D937.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
