Sandnessjøen

Sandnessjøen is a town in the Norwegian municipality Alstahaug, about 50 km south of the Arctic Circle. Sandnessjøen belongs to Fylke Nordland.

Sandnessjøen is known for the mountain range "Seven Sisters" ( bokmål En søstre syv, nynorsk Dei sju søstre ). The island Alsten, is on the Sandnessjøen is 54 km ². To Alsten lying around many small islands.
