Accessible is the Teigitschgraben, nestled in the West Styrian Mittelgebirgsland, about the packers road B70 or from the A2 motorway (exit Steinberg ). The Teigitsch is. Due to abundance of water from the Koralm not only for tourism but also for the energy of interest The oldest Styrian hydropower plants are located on this river. Thanks League of Nations loan in the early 1920s built the Langmann - lock for the power plant Arnstein. For its time it was one of the most modern Austrian hydropower plants, as sampling was used with a water column pressure so far not reached. After the Second World War, the 50 m high, further up Hirzmannsperre was built. Further up is the Packers reservoir. All the water that flows in Teigitschgraben today comes from small tributaries on the right and left of the trench. The amounts of water from the upper reaches are diverted from a dam long man out in a tubular system. Therefore, the gorge lost most of its water volume of the past and thus to a tourist attraction. In the ditch there was once three Inns, none of which is more open. One was converted to a scout hall (dormitory Langmann lock). The core of the trench between the plant and the Arnstein Langmann lock can be hiked in about 2.5 hours of walking. At times, the route leads along the water-bearing line and the so-called rail road, a flat track, on which the material was transported for the construction of the Langmann - lock with Hunten, which was brought up with an inclined elevator from the power plant Arnstein.

Mineralogical was the Teigitschgraben because it is in the range of crystalline rocks of the Styrian border mountains between Soboth and Koralm, during power plant construction as an excellent reference for various minerals such as rock crystal, smoky quartz, Sphenen, feldspars and similar gap minerals.
