The Sany Group (SSE 600031 ) is a company founded in 1989 engineering company headquartered in Changsha, China. The main focus of the Sany Group is in the area of construction machinery, including excavators, cranes and wind turbines.
Sany Germany
Beginning of 2008 has opened its European headquarters in Cologne Media Park Sany. From here, the euro zone is supervised. In the same year, the company announced that Sany in Bedburg near Cologne invested in a new location. There a production facility, a center for research and development, an administration building and a hotel will be built for about 100 million euros. In the first step, from 2011 600 employees to start work in the medium term and generate 350 million euros in annual sales. As of 2015, the site Bedburg should implement one billion euros annually in 1870 and construction machinery, especially concrete pumps and trucks produced, which serve the European and North African market.

Operations
Sany has organized its activities by region. From Changsha from Asia is served. The Europe, Middle East and Africa are led by Cologne and the American operations of Peachtree City, Georgia in the United States. Currently Sany plans to new corporate headquarters and the associated relocation of the plant from Changsha to Beijing for a billion dollars.
In early 2012 it was announced that Sany takes over the German concrete pump manufacturer Putzmeister. It is the largest ever acquisition by a Chinese company in Germany. With Putzmeister Sany increases the largest manufacturer of concrete pumps in the world.
