São João de Deus was a municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Lisbon.

In it lived 9693 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011). It was named after John of God.

In the fall of 2013, the municipality was merged together with the neighboring municipality of Alto do Pina to the new community Areeiro.
