São Miguel do Araguaia Microregion

The micro- region of São Miguel do Araguaia is a total of 18 micro-regions of the State of Goiás in the Midwest of Brazil. It belongs to mesoregion Northwest Goiás.

Geographical location

The micro- region of São Miguel do Araguaia bordered clockwise starting from the north to:

• In the north of the state of Tocantins
• To the east of the mesoregion North Goiás and mesoregion Central Goiás
• In the south, to the micro- region of Rio Vermelho
• To the west of the State of Mato Grosso

Communities

At the micro-region Rio Vermelho include the following seven municipalities with nine localities ( Portuguese: distritos ).
