São Tomé and Príncipe legislative election, 1991

The parliamentary elections in São Tomé and Príncipe in 1991 took place in the West African island nation of São Tomé and Principe on 20 January 1991. It was the first free elections for the National Assembly of the country. In the previous year 1990 was only through a referendum the multi-party system has been introduced.
