Saravan (Persian: سراوان, Sarāvān; earlier Shastoon ) is a city in southeastern Iran. It is located in the eponymous administrative district, which lies in the province of Sistan and Baluchistan.

History

On April 16, 2013, arrived in the area to Saravan to a severe earthquake of magnitude 7.8. The epicenter was doing around 95 kilometers north of the city of Saravan. For larger damage it did not in the city itself there.
