The Sarysu ( Kazakh and Russian Сарысу; " yellow water " ) is a river in Kazakhstan.

The river flows through the Sarysu Kazakhstan Karaganda and Kyzylorda regions. The Sarysu is 671 km long. He is the longest dischargeless steppe river. The Sarysu is fed by snowmelt.
