Saša Bjelanović

Saša Bjelanović ( born June 11, 1979 in Zadar, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian football player, he plays on the position of a striker. Since summer 2013 he is at AS Varese 1910 under contract.

Career

Bjelanović began his career at NK Zadar. For the season 1999 /00 he moved to league rivals NK Pula Staro Cesko 1856. During the season, he joined the Croatian tradition Dinamo Zagreb, but here he could not prevail, which is why he went to NK Varteks Varaždin to the 2000/01 season, where he stayed for two seasons before he first time abroad to Como Calcio in the Italian Serie A, switched. Da Como relegation at the end of the season, Bjelanović joined the Serie A club Chievo Verona, but even here he is not matured into a regular player. Therefore, it drove him to the 2003/04 season for Genoa in Serie B, here, he succeeded in Italy the dip in the starting eleven, after which he returned again a season in the Serie A for U.S. Lecce. From the 2005/06 season against newly promoted Ascoli Calcio played Bjelanović where he stood in the root cadres and was one of the most dangerous attackers.

End of the season 2006/07 Torino bought 50 percent of his transfer rights. In summer 2010, he moved to CFR Cluj in the Romanian League 1, but returned early as the winter break to Italy and played for Atalanta in the Serie B. For season 2011/12 changed Bjelanović within the series B Hellas Verona. After missing out on promotion, he returned in September 2012 to Cluj.
