Sascha Fischer

Sascha Fischer ( born December 24, 1971) is a former German rugby union player.

Fischer came from volleyball to rugby and initially played for the DSV Hannover 78 before he finally moved to France and worked there as a professional for many years. For the CS Bourgoin- Jallieu he played with in the prestigious Heineken Cup. By 2009, he was a player of AC Le Bugue in the Fédérale 1 in use. With 2.08 meters in the second- row players is one of the longest players in the European rugby. In the German national rugby team Fischer played 27 internationals. He was distinguished by robust game, wit and game overview.
