Sathinee Chankrachangwong

Sathinee Chankrachangwong ( Thai: สา ธิ นี จันทร์ กระจ่าง วงศ์; born June 25, 1982 in Bangkok ) is a former Thai badminton player.

Sporting career

In 2004 we launched Sathinee Chankrachangwong at the Olympics in women's doubles with Saralee Thungthongkam. There, both won their first round match against Denyse Julien and Anna Rice of Canada with 15:3 and 15:4. In the second round they defeated Chikako Nakayama and Keiko Yoshitomi from Japan with 15:4 and 15:11. The future Olympic champion Zhang Jiewen and Yang Wei were in the quarterfinals but then a number too large for the Thais. Chankrachangwong Thungthongkam and were thus in the final five. Also in the 2006 World Cup they came to the two Chinese in the quarter-finals and were not over again in five. Even at the 2005 World Cup they had failed at a Chinese pair in the quarterfinals with Gao Ling and Huang Sui.

National they won for the first time at the Thai Championships 2000 in women's doubles with Saralee Thungthongkam. Four more titles followed in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
