Sato Kilman is a vanuatischer politician and several times prime minister of his country.

He is chairman of the People's Progress Party (PPP). From 2004 to 2007 he served as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister at the same time in the government of Ham Lini. In November 2009, he was Deputy Prime Minister in the government of Edward Natapei. After the fall of Prime Minister Natapei by a vote of no confidence on 2 December 2010 Kilman was elected by Parliament on the same day as the new prime minister. On 24 April 2011 he was overthrown by a no-confidence vote and replaced by Serge Vohor as Prime Minister. However Kilmans followers fought against the validity of the no-confidence vote in court because, although 26 MPs against Kilman and had only 25 voted for it, must, in the opinion of his followers, however, vote for a valid deselecting the absolute majority of the full 52 MPs Parliament, namely 27 against him would. The Supreme Court explained this view following Kilmans deselection on 13 May 2011 unconstitutional and put him back into his office. On 15 June 2011 he was deposed, however, the Supreme Court again, because his choice was not made on December 2, 2010 in a secret ballot. On June 26, 2011 Kilman was again elected by parliament as prime minister. On March 21, 2013 he resigned.
