Satrio Hermanto

Adil Satryaguna " Satrio " Hermanto (* June 29, 1984 in Jakarta ) is a former Indonesian racing driver. He is a brother of the racing driver Bagoes Hermanto.

Career

Hermanto began his motorsport career in 1994 in karting, where he was active until 1997. He won in 1995 and 1997, the Indonesian ICA Kart Championship. In 1998 he went to in touring car racing and won the second division of Timor One Make Series. In 1999, he debuted in Formula racing and became vice champion in Formula Asia. After more years in karting, Hermanto returned in 2006 to Formula racing back. He was seventh in the Asian Formula 3 Championship and won promotion class.

2007 Hermanto went in the Asian Formula Renault V6 at the start. While his team-mate James Winslow won the championship title, Hermanto was third. In the following winter 2007/2008 Hermanto went for the Indonesian team in the A1 Grand Prix at the start. Hermanto denied every race and scored with a tenth place as best result only once points. His team was 21st in the team standings. In the subsequent 2008 season Hermanto participated only in one race of the German Formula 3 Cup. In winter 2008/2009 Hermanto was another pilot of the Indonesian A1 team, which was led by his brother Bagoes Hermanto. He played five race weekends and had no points. His teammate Zahir Ali, who graduated from the remaining two events, took three points. Then took Hermanto 2009 participated in two race weekends of the British Formula 3 Championship. He competed in the national class and finished eighth in the standings.

Since 2010 Hermanto participated more in any of the international racing series.
