Satu Silvo

Satu Silvo Irmeli ( born August 2, 1962 in Sippola, Finland) is a Finnish actress. In addition to her theater work, she has also appeared in numerous feature films and television productions.

Life

Satu Silvo studied 1981-1985 at the Helsinki Theatre Academy. From 1985 to 1992 she worked at the Municipal Theatre of Helsinki. Since 1994 she has worked as a freelancer. During her studies, she played the female lead in the film Niskavuori by Matti Kassila (1984). She later starred in the Finnish feature films Lumikuningatar, Porttikielto taivaaseen, sydämeen Naisen Kaikki pelissä and Tie. In the years 1993-1997 she was the Pipsa, the female lead, in the Pekko - Comedies by Timo Koivusalo.

Your role repertoire in the theater is regarded as comprehensive. She has played leading roles in various dramas or comedies and farces. Her roles include Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire and Anja in Finnish Drama Eteisiin yes kynnyksille. In addition, she participated in a number of musicals, including Annie, Chicago and Nine.

In 1998, Satu Silvo was in a skiing accident in Saariselkä, Lapland, intricate, in which she came almost killed. She suffered serious injuries, of which it has, however, recovered.

Satu Silvo is also active as an entrepreneur. She leads a vegetarian restaurant in Hakaniemi, Helsinki. In the years 2001-2007 she headed the hotel Satulinna in Hirvensalmi together with friends and relatives. From 1986 to 2002 Satu Silvo with the Finnish Heikki Kinnunen actor ( b. 1946 ) was married. With him she has a son and a daughter. Today she is engaged to the writers and actors Reidar Palmgren (* 1966).
