Saturnina

The Holy Saturnina to have suffered in a non- traditional time as a virgin martyr at Sains- lès- Marquion in the French department of Pas -de- Calais martyrdom.

Life and Death

Various sources mention Saturnina as a woman or virgin Roman origin. Other authors suggest that Saturnina originally from Saxony. A marriage by her family had refused it because she wanted to lead a celibate life for Christ's sake as a consecrated virgin.
