Saúl Fernández García, simply Saúl, ( born April 9, 1985 in Oviedo ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for SD Ponferradina División in the Segunda.

Saúl Fernández began his career as a footballer with the second team of FC Malaga. In the relegation season of 2005 /06 he was finally promoted to the first team. After another year at the Andalusians in the Segunda División initially followed once the sporty step backwards, so that Saúl 2007/ 08 at Levante B again found in the Segunda División. Quick succeeded the Italian Gianni De Biasi to convince them of his skills so that he has already competed in a few games in the first team in Spain's elite class.
