Saul Weigopwa

Saul Weigopwa ( born June 14, 1984 in Adamawa ) is a Nigerian sprinter who specializes in the 400 -meter run.

At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, he took up in the Nigerian 4 x 400 - meter relay. Together with James Godday, Musa Audu and Udo- Obong Enefiok he won the bronze medal in 3:00,90 minutes behind the teams from the United States and Australia. Weigopwa also launched in the 400 -meter run, reaching the semi-finals here.

In 2007 he won the relay at the Pan-African Games in Algiers the silver medal. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he reached the semi-finals in the 400m back. A Nigerian 4 x 400 - meter relay team came not stop there.

At the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 Weigopwa was eliminated in the preliminary round in the 400 -meter run. With the season he finished eighth.
