Saussy

Saussy is a commune with 95 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Côte- d'Or in the Burgundy region.

Legend

In a story of King Arthur is reported that he won a decisive battle against the Romans commanded by the Procurator Lucius Tiberius in Saussy on a military expedition to Rome. Upon further advance to Rome he received the news that his nephew Mordred at home over the rule and the Queen Guinevere had brought into his possession. Then he turned, moved back to England and fought against Mordred; this fell and Arthur also died of his wounds.
