Sauza Tequila

Sauza Tequila is a distillery that produces the same Tequila and Hornitos and Tres Generaciones brands. It has its registered office in Guadalajara and its production site, the Hacienda La Persevarancia, in the town of Tequila, both located in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The Mexican supervisory authority CRT leads the Tequila Sauza under the names NOM 1102 and DOT 88

History

With the acquisition, which was founded in 1805 Distillery La Antigua Cruz, which he renamed La Persevarancia, put Cenobio Sauza on September 1, 1873 the foundation stone for the traditional family, the exported in the same year as the first tequila producer at all its products in the USA.

Don Cenobio led the company for 33 years before he transferred in 1906 to his son Eladio Sauza line. Don Eladio modernized the distillery and refined production techniques of his father. In the 1920s, he brought two new tequila brands on the market that are still produced today: the Sauza Blanco and Sauza Gold. He also began to bottle tequila in bottles. So far, the Mexican national drink was sold exclusively in barrels.

Eladio Sauza the management finally went over to his eldest son Francisco Javier Sauza, Sauza Tequila so that was managed and controlled across three generations of the same family.
