Saxon III

As a genus III, the Royal Saxon State Railways designated four-coupled Tender locomotives for the fast service. The German Reichsbahn ordered the locomotives from 1925 into the series 34.76.

History

They were 1871/1872 manufactured by Hartmann in 66 copies and Maschinenfabrik Esslingen in 21 copies. 14 of Esslinger locomotives were subsequently held the stare a leading axle Nowotny - Klien - steering axle and were then classified into the IIIb series.

The Reichsbahn took over only one of the unchanged machine with No. 274 and the name BRNO and gave her the operation number 34 7611th
