SBTRKT

SBTRKT (pronounced Subtract ) is the pseudonym of London musician Aaron Jerome. His music is often associated with the genre Dubstep, but Jerome sees his music rather than a mix of different genres.

Life and career

Jerome initially joined as a DJ in the east London club Plastic People. As of 2009, his first publications appeared under the pseudonym SBTRKT.

A wider audience, he was known in 2011 with the release of his self-titled debut album, and the resulting coupled- Singles Wildfire and Hold On.

To protect his privacy wearing Jerome during his appearance masks, traditional African masks are modeled. In his performances, he is often assisted by Sampha musicians on keyboards and vocals.
