SC Waldgirmes

The SC Waldgirmes is an approximately 700 members scoring sports club from the Hessian Waldgirmes. In addition to the famous department - the gambling in the fifth division Hesse footballers - there are the departments table tennis, women's gymnastics, cycling and skiing exercises.

History

The club was founded in 1929 as SG Waldgirmes. After the Second World War, the FC Waldgirmes split off from the sports community, before the two clubs merged again in 1952 in the newly created SC Waldgirmes.

1970 increased the footballers of the club in the group League - today's Football Association League Hesse - on, and was, with two interruptions by the Downs in 1975 and 1993, this class until the year 2002. In 2002, the Sports Club for the first time rose as masters of the country league in the Football League Hesse, had to leave this as a Table again, however, in the first year. After the immediate resurgence in 2004 Waldgirmes belonged to until the 2012/13 season the league Hesse. While this shows the score to the Langerringen the league title ( 2008/ 09). The club waived, however, because of non- actionable demands on club structure and venue for the promotion to the Regionalliga. Beneficiaries of this was the second-placed Bayern Alzenau. In the following seasons 2009 /10 and 2010/11 was Waldgirmes runners- Hesse league. After this successful phase in the highest Hessian division it was the team in the season 2011/2012 is no longer possible to achieve the league and it was followed by the relegation to the Football Association League Hesse.

  • Master the national league Hessen -Mitte in 2002, 2004 and the First Team
  • Master of Bezirksoberliga district Gießen / Marburg in 2005 with the second team
