Scarlett Werner

Scarlett Werner ( born November 21, 1984 in Munich as Scarlett Kotschwara ) is a German tennis player who lives in Berlin and competes for the TC Rüppurr Karlsruhe in the first ladies league.

Career

So far you won five singles and with changing partners seven tournaments of the ITF. In her first career, Scarlett Werner has already acted as a child prodigy and possible successor to Steffi Graf. At thirteen, she made her debut at the French Open, Wimbledon and in fourteen of fifteen at the U.S. Open. At age 16, she made her debut at the German Fed Cup ladies under selection boss Markus Schur. In 2002, Scarlett Werner had to be performed emergency surgery at the beginning of a tournament in Acapulco for a ruptured appendix and barely escaped with his life. At the time she was 17 years old. In February 2003, she announced her retirement from professional tennis and shortly thereafter began to study medicine. In 2009, she started her second career.
