The Schadenbeeksköpfe in the Harz mountain range are a maximum of 605 m above sea level. NN high, zweikuppiger southeast foothills of the Aschentalshalbe near the village of Sieber in the unincorporated area of the county resin Osterode am Harz in Lower Saxony.

Geographical location

The Schadenbeeksköpfe rise in the Upper Harz Harz nature park, 3.5 km (air line ) southeast of the village screener, a northeastern suburb of Herzberg am Harz. Disconnect the Schadenbeek, after which they were named, from the upper Crooked Lutter. The north western summit is 605 m high, the southeast knoll about 585 m.

About 1 km east of the Schadenbeeksköpfe the disused mine in June 2007 Clouds Hill is located in the Valley of the Crooked Lutter.

Afforestation

Today the Schadenbeeksköpfe in the higher elevations are mostly covered with pines, while located at lower altitudes also deciduous forest. In 1596 they were still completely covered with houses.

Hiking

The Schadenbeeksköpfe are included as No. 153 in the system of stamp locations of the Harz hiking pin. The stamp box suspended from a shelter (about 602 m above sea level, . 51.68680555555610.464513888889 ⊙ ), which is about 1 km north of the north-western tip of Schadenbeeksköpfe and 1.25 km east-northeast of Aschentalshalbe. Just west of the cottage is located on 627 m height measurement point. Directly beyond the pass leading to the cottage forest road rises a source stream Krumme Lutter.
